WHO is Laila?

I’ve always believed that stories connect us—so I’ve built my life around telling them. I’m a multimedia creator who loves blending visuals, sound, and writing to bring people’s experiences to life. From short-form videos that include news-style packages to well-informed and creative reels, I aim to make work that feels honest, dynamic, and grounded in humanity.

I’m currently pursuing a degree in Multimedia Journalism at Loyola University Chicago, where I’ve developed a strong foundation in reporting, editing, and visual storytelling. My internships in podcast production, digital media, and visual storytelling have deepened my understanding of how media shapes culture and informs audiences.

Through the years I've learned how to approach storytelling with intention, technical skill, and a commitment to capturing narratives that feel both informed and human.
